Keep the service mode attached

A table order, a pickup order and a delivery request may share a menu, but the handoff is different. Keep the table or fulfilment mode attached to the order so the kitchen and service team know where it is going.

Make choices readable

Size, milk choice, extra ingredients and removed items need to stay with the product. Clear modifier groups reduce the chance of a special request disappearing between the guest, the cashier and the kitchen.

Define the payment path

Decide whether the guest pays online, at the counter or as part of a table bill. Payment-provider availability and integration requirements should be confirmed separately from the QR menu itself.

Follow the order to the handoff

Received, preparing, ready and fulfilled are useful only when the team knows who updates them. Agree on the responsibilities, then test a complete order with your real service model.
